Privacy lap

We are a running site with no accounts, no logins and no app. What little we know about visitors fits on one lap, so here it is in plain words.
The form is the only place you tell us anything
If you use it, we receive the name, email and message you typed. We don't ask for anything else, and there is nowhere else on the site to enter personal details.
Visit counts, not visitors
We may switch on an audience counter that reports totals — how many people opened each lap, roughly where from, on what kind of screen. It does not tell us who you are and we don't try to find out.
Why we keep what we keep
To answer you; to see which laps are actually read so the next ones are better; and to keep the site secure. We never sell or pass on personal details, and we build nothing around individual visitors.
The logs the host keeps
Underneath everything described so far sits an ordinary web server, and it keeps ordinary logs: IP address, browser string, page requested, time. They are used to keep the site up and secure, the hosting company sets how long they live, and we do not query them to find out who visited.
Cookies and the counter
The counter sets cookies of its own when it is on, and the advertising described next sets more. Refuse or delete them in your browser; the laps read identically without them.
Where the ads come from
The advertising on this site is served by Google. Google and the partners it works with may set cookies or use similar identifiers to select and measure those ads. In some regions the selection can draw on pages you visited earlier, on this site or on others.
Both halves of that are adjustable by you: personalised advertising can be switched off in Google's ad settings, and cookies can be blocked for this site in your browser. Neither affects anything you came here to read.
Two services we rely on
The form is handled by FormSubmit; the counter, when active, by its provider. Each has a privacy policy of its own and receives from us only what it needs to do its job.
How long a message stays
Until it's answered, then up to twelve months so a follow-up makes sense. Counter totals stay on the provider's default retention.

Wherever you live, write to contato@simplyitidyhomeh.com to see, correct or erase what we hold about you and we'll act on it. The exact rights available depend on your jurisdiction.

This lap can be updated if the site or the law changes; the date under the title is the current version.
